An electrician and refrigeration mechanic by trade, Dylan began working with Auscool in 2012 as a service technician. As well as his time as a service technician, Dylan has also spent time as a site foreman, lead commissioning technician before taking on the role of managing our service division in 2016. Over the past 16 years Dylan has gained extensive knowledge and experience in many aspects of the HVAC industry, from service, maintenance, electrical controls, commissioning, essential service testing, fire and smoke management, project management, estimating and design. Dylan balances professionalism with an approachable manner making him very popular with clients and staff alike.
Michael is a Dual Trade Electrician and Refrigeration Mechanic. Beginning his career as an Electrician in 2006, Michael has both domestic and commercial construction experience where he has developed an in-depth knowledge of trade, practice and team management. Michael joined Auscool with a well-developed understanding of HVAC and Refrigeration Systems, with our Service Division completed his Refrigeration trade qualification in 2022, in recognition of his strong business development acumen and focus on customer and business outcomes, Michael was appointed Commissioning Manager and now leads the Commissioning Team for Auscool Commissioning Services.
Caitlin Burns is the backbone of our team. With her expert ability to schedule and organize our technicians and subcontractors, she handles the complexities of coordinating multiple moving parts with ease. Always with a wicked sense of humor, Caitlin has become a beloved figure among our clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. As an experienced administrator and coordinator in the building and construction industry, there's nothing Caitlin can't manage. She ensures that our office runs smoothly, efficiently assisting the Director, Service and Installation Managers, and overseeing all scheduling and invoicing.
Taryn joined Auscool in 2019, working as a member of our service and commissioning team. Her previous management experience has led her to being fast tracked into a management role overseeing our team of highly skilled and qualified commissioning technicians. In 2022 Taryn moved into the role of National Contracts Manager where she managers hundreds of commercial sites across Australia for multiple national clients. Taryn's attention to detail and quality has made her an ideal fit as manager of our National Contracts department.
Steve is an all-rounder with over 20 years in the HVAC industry. With experience as a service technician, VRF Plumber, Site Supervisor, business development manager for Panasonic, and HVAC project manager, there isn't anything he can't do! Managing operations in New South Wales, Steve's experience and drive have been integral to our national expansion, ensuring our highest quality and customer service standards.
Clay is the Small Commercial Construction Manager at Auscool Commissioning Services, where he leverages his extensive experience in the HVAC industry. He initially joined Auscool as a Project Manager, successfully overseeing a variety of projects and ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. With a strong focus on quality and client satisfaction, Clay has a proven track record of managing complex construction projects efficiently. His transition to his new role allows him to apply his expertise in small commercial construction, where he continues to drive innovation and excellence in every project. Clay's commitment to teamwork and effective communication makes him an invaluable part of the Auscool team.
Daniel joined Auscool in 2024 as Warranty Manager, overseeing Defects Liability Period (DLP) projects in Melbourne. With over nine years of experience in the Heating and Ventilation industry, he brings extensive expertise in project management, engineering, and customer service. Prior to relocating to Australia in 2022, Daniel worked as a Project Engineer in London, where he developed a strong track record in managing HVAC projects from design through to completion. His transition to Auscool has enabled him to apply his technical expertise and project management skills to ensure the optimal performance of client systems, promptly addressing any issues that arise.In his current role, Daniel manages the DLP phase for projects across Melbourne, coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to resolve all warranty-related matters efficiently. He is committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.
As a seasoned professional in the air conditioning trade, Matt boasts an impressive 17 years of industry experience. His diverse background encompasses roles such as service technician, supervisor, service manager, account manager, project manager, and national account manager in two prior businesses. Matt's extensive expertise extends across service, commissioning, central plant systems and controls, and fire & essential services. Notably, he is Smardt Chiller Trained and holds certification as an Innotech Controls Trained specialist. Matt's comprehensive skill set, coupled with his wealth of experience, positions him as a valuable asset within Auscool, aligning seamlessly with the company's commitment to excellence in the HVAC industry.

Jake Williams began his career in the HVAC industry in 2015, gaining valuable hands-on experience before starting his formal apprenticeship in 2018. He joined Auscool in 2020 as a second-year apprentice, quickly demonstrating his technical skills and commitment, and earned his qualification as a refrigeration mechanic in 2022. Over the years, Jake has built expertise in service calls, breakdowns, repairs, commissioning, and preventative maintenance, all while fostering strong client relationships through clear and effective communication.
Jake's career progression at Auscool reflects his dedication to growth. He advanced to service technician in 2022, commissioning technician in 2023, and was promoted to WA State Manager for the Perth division in 2024. With his diverse experience and commitment to excellence, Jake is a key member of the Auscool team, embodying the company's high standards in the HVAC industry.
Kayla has been a Service Coordinator since 2021, beginning her career in the plumbing industry before joining Auscool in 2024. In her current role, she plays a crucial part in managing schedules and coordinating technicians to ensure that jobs are completed efficiently and meet customer expectations. With a background in call centre administration, Kayla has honed excellent communication and multitasking abilities, enabling her to thrive in a fast-paced service environment. She is also highly skilled in office administration, including invoicing, reporting, and process optimization, all of which contribute to the seamless operation of the team.
