Director / Construction Manager
Terence began his career at Auscool in 2013 as a draftsman before becoming a project manager where his aptitude for procuring materials and meticulous management style were ideally suited. In 2016, Terry became a director in the company where he continues to apply his thorough approach to all aspects of the business.
James Stephens
Director / Bid Manager
James started with Auscool in 2014 as a chief estimator before becoming a director in 2016. He retains a strong technical knowledge developed over his years as a mechanical plumber and site foreman on large scale projects. This coupled with James' proficiency with numbers enables the delivery of projects on time and on budget.
Michael Casey
Commissioning Manager
Balancing business and customer needs, Michael achieves win-win results. With a cool head, attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of trade, practice, and management, Michael leads our commissioning team and drives quality assurance to achieve our high standards. Starting his career as an electrician in 2006, Michael has domestic and commercial construction experience and a solid understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems as a qualified air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic.

Liam is the EHSQ Manager at Auscool, bringing extensive experience and expertise in environmental, health, safety, and quality management to the team. Beginning his career as a refrigeration mechanical, in 2016, Liam transitioned to project management at Auscool, where he refined his leadership abilities and project oversight. His exceptional understanding of the construction industry played a crucial role in gaining Auscool achieve ISO certification, demonstrating his commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. He consistently meets and exceeds client expectations while prioritizing safety and sustainability.
Jason Fischer
Project Manager
Jason has recently joined the team at Auscool. He has worked as a Mechanical Services Draftsman for 17 years and for the past 15 years he has also been working as a Project Manager. Jason has vast experience in commercial, hospital & educational projects with extensive experience in all facets of HVAC mechanical services.
Anish Naicker
Drafting Manager
Anish is a certified BIM professional with 15 years of extensive experience in drafting of MEP services. He leads the BIM team and oversees coordination with supporting personnel. Anish is responsible for setting up and guiding his team at Auscool, which includes both local and international staff. He is adept at managing complex BIM projects from design development through to 3D coordination, manufacturing, construction, and asbuilt documentation. Anish advocates for strategies that minimize risks and costs in project execution, ensuring effective collaboration with our clients throughout the process.

Mechanical Engineer
Mark joined the Auscool team in 2022, he is a Registered Professional Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the Mechanical Services Contracting industry. Mark has overseen the successful completion of many projects including Commercial, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Bio-services, Residential and Educational. Mark extensive experience enables him to assist the Auscool team across many parts of the business including estimation, design, construction, and commissioning. His knowledge helps to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, ensuring compliance, and achieving cost effective outcomes for our clients throughout the construction process.

With over 25 years in HAVAC and 20 years as a project manager Frank has worked on projects both in the UK and Australia. With experience in Hospitals, Commercial Offices, High End Residential, laboratories, Data Centre's and Schools. Frank has a wealth of knowledge and experience of all aspects required to deliver a successful project from planning to completion.
Charles Pardo
Project Manager
Charles began his career in New Zealand as an HVAC installer nine years ago. While working, he completed his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and gained a diverse skill set, including drafting, estimation, engineering design, commissioning, and project administration for residential and small commercial projects. He progressed from site manager to project manager, overseeing HVAC installations in commercial buildings like university facilities, healthcare centers, and office spaces. Now in Australia, Charles is bringing his extensive experience and expertise to the Auscool team.

Steve joined Auscool in 2021 as a Site Foreman, quickly earning recognition for his exceptional leadership and organizational skills. His dedication and expertise facilitated a swift transition to the Construction Management team, where he now oversees labor for all projects. Steve manages a team of approximately 80 on-site employees and multiple sub-contractors, ensuring efficient operations and fostering a collaborative work environment. His commitment to excellence and effective team management continues to drive Auscool's success in the construction industry.
Kirstie Arnel

Kirstie joined Auscool in 2011, initially supporting the team as a Project Manager's Assistant. Over the years, she has evolved into a dynamic and adaptable member of the business, known for her outstanding organisational skills and ability to take on a wide range of responsibilities with precision and efficiency. With a deep understanding of business operations, Kirstie is passionate about fostering strong internal and external relationships that support the company's success.
Now serving as the Business Support Manager, Kirstie plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of Auscool's administrative and contractual functions. She brings a sharp eye for detail and extensive experience in contract administration, compliance, and financial coordination. Steve is a Registered Professional Engineer and has extensive experience with services design & coordination, client liaison and problem solving.
Ujjal Ghosh
Snr Engineer - Mechanical Estimator
Ujjal joined the Auscool team in 2022 after relocating from New Zealand. With a master's degree in Technological Operations and over 40 years of experience, he specializes in Proposal/Pre-bid Engineering and Estimation for large industrial and commercial projects. Previously, Ujjal spent more than 22 years with Panasonic New Zealand's Climate Control and Project Division, where he was instrumental in delivering significant HVAC projects across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, and data centres. At Auscool, he now plays a key role in tendering activities and supports James in securing projects to drive the businesses growth.
John Jougin
Project Manager
John brings over 30 years of experience in Melbourne's HVAC industry to Auscool, having started his career as a Mechanical Plumbing apprentice. Since then, he has progressed through a range of senior roles including Commissioning Technician, Project Manager, Construction Manager and General Manager. Qualified as both a Mechanical Plumber and Mechanical Engineer, John combines strong hands-on industry knowledge with extensive project and management experience. As a Senior Project Manager at Auscool, John is focused on delivering high-quality outcomes and ensuring every project is completed to the highest standard.
Phil O'neill-Dwyer
Project Manager
A pipefitter by trade, Phil started on the tools at 16 and has spent over 20 years in the Mechanical Services industry. He progressed into management roles with major mechanical contractors in the UK, working on landmark and high-end residential projects including The Shard and Chelsea Barracks. In 2026, Phil immigrated to Australia to join the Auscool team, where he is focused on delivering projects on time and building strong working relationships with builders, clients and site teams.
Altaf Ticklay
Mechanical Engineer
Altaf brings extensive mechanical services experience to Auscool, having built his career across a diverse range of HVAC projects and sectors. He began his career with Bitzer (Buffalo Trident), gaining valuable technical experience designing coils, condensing units, oil cooling systems and built-up air handling units before transitioning into Mechanical Services. Since then, Altaf has held project roles with multiple tier 1 Mechanical Contractors, delivering projects across commercial offices, residential developments, shopping centres, correctional facilities, aged care, major infrastructure and data centres. His experience includes significant projects such as the State Library Metro Tunnel works, Greystar's South Melbourne development and a Microsoft Data Centre. Altaf joined Auscool in 2025, bringing a strong technical background and broad project delivery experience to the team.
Jim Tran
Mechanical Engineer
Jim has graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and began his career in the HVAC industry with a ductwork manufacturing company, where he developed his skills as a designer. He then spent years working in drafting and design, gaining valuable practical experience in HVAC systems, ductwork and construction coordination. In 2024, Jim joined Auscool as a Junior Mechanical Draftsperson, where he continued to develop his technical and coordination skills across a range of HVAC projects. He has since progressed into an engineering role at Auscool, allowing him to combine his drafting experience, practical industry knowledge and engineering background to develop practical, efficient and well-coordinated HVAC solutions.
Ashiq IIahi
Snr Engineer - Mechanical Estimator
Ashiq brings over 13 years of experience in the Building Services and Construction industry, with extensive experience in Dubai and Australia. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, he has worked across a range of commercial developments, developing strong expertise in engineering, estimation, project delivery and management. His hands-on construction experience gives him a practical understanding of mechanical systems, construction methodology and coordination. As a Mechanical Estimator, Ashiq applies this knowledge to tendering activities, helping the team develop competitive solutions, secure new projects and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
